Holy crap. How did I miss out on this amazing smorgasboard of low budget (dare I say) genius.
go to Channel 101 and watch it all. But really don’t miss The Most Extraordinary Space Investigations and Computerman.

There’s something frightening about the way these things move. I swear I still hate robots, especially cute little renditions of them in song, but this is cool, dude.
Let’s go bowling.
The daily lush, a blog for the burgeoning alcholic in you, takes a look at The Dude from their unique perspective. If you don’t know who I am talking about, too bad. You wouldn’t enjoy the link anyway.
Mike Mills is sort of a big brother to designers my age. Maybe not so much a “genre bender” as the media likes to portray him. I like Mr. Mills. I can relate to his unrelenting credit card debt, his humor (and lack of), and I like to think of myself as being relatively connected to a wooden board with 4 wheels attached.
that’s all very long-winded just to bring up mills’ new film, THUMBSUCKER.
I think it would be nice to get a little mills/mcfetridge/sofia coppola/leon, design thread going. there’s some undercurrent to the aesthetic of these designers and film makers. Is it just a west coast thing?
